I never had any faults with my tent, I have it for my family of 4 and my 2 dogs.
Just one thing that I noticed but doesn't bother me to much is that the window blinds are a bit droopy so it does not cover the window completely, not good if your getting changed but I do that in the bedroom area so not really a problem.

We are new to camping. I bought this tent, an early-version (blue) Boston 600 for £75 on eBay, a real bargain. Very good tent for two adults plus two kids, more would be cramped. Living area spacious, bedroom pods well made, overall very good. We had a couple of heavy showers (well, downpours) and tent remained dry and snug.
Just a couple of gripes.
The door flaps don't zip at the bottom, which meant the living area was very draughty in windy conditions. The side door was a particular problem and I had to put a piece of plywood which was in our van to cover it. Really could do with zips or velcro adding to door bottoms.
Pitching was easy for two people despite the fact we had never done it before. It took about 30 minutes. Good value second-hand for under £100. Recommended.

We had a boston 400 which was nice but a bit small. Upgraded to the Boston 600, this tent is wonderful very high so loads of headroom for my 6ft husband. Very easy to put up, loads of space as there's only us two. Plenty of room to sit inside if the weathers bad, loads of windows so you don't feel shut in. Good cheap tent if you want to start camping.

Got this tent because the kids wanted to try camping and I decided that my three man dome was a little small for us , but was not prepared to spend £800- £1000 on a tent to use once if the kids hated camping .
Good value for money £240 for a six man tent , we put it up in about half an hour (first time out of the bag , had had no time to test pitch)we being 1 adult and 2 8 year olds in a fair wind , so should be easier with practice and a couple of adults .
Sleeping area held 2 double air beds with several feet of floor space between could probably squeezed a single air bed in the gap we did not try .
Living area was large and bright , we had a fair sized folding table and four chairs , drying rack plus food , clothes , cooking gear etc in here and could still walk about , good head hight I had no bother at 6 foot tall .
Rained heavy on our second day (all day) and we had no drips or leaking seams .
We will be using this tent again .
In my opinion it is a good value for money family tent and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tent of this size and cost .

We have just used our Boston 600 tent for the first time properly (Done the usual practice to stop us looking complete idiots!). I am going to go against the majority here and say it's very good and I'll explain why. Lots of people are talking about the finish, the stitching and the front lifting. As it happens, the one we have doesn't have a problem with the stitching. However, yes, the front lifts a little & the curtains are a little baggy, but I don't mind. People are forgetting, this is a 'budget priced tent' and like anything else, you get what you pay for. If I'd paid £500 for this tent I'd be spitting feathers, but I didn't I paid a little short of £300. In one of the worst summers we've had it has kept us dry and warm, with ample room and brilliant light. The suspended inner bedroom was adequate with room enough for a double mattress in one side and a large dog bed and kit bag in the other. I'm willing to tweak a few things myself like adding Velcro to the water guards at the front and side entrances. I wouldn't splash out on extras, like the footprint or carpet, but I have bought a huge builders groundsheet for £10 and furnished the inside with large, cheap rubber backed mats (that don't slip). For the price paid my wife and I are happy enough. But there again, we're from a generation that were used of no-frills camping, so even the sewn in groundsheet is a plus for us. If you want a tent that gives you bags of room, is light & airy, easy to put up then go for this one. But don't expect perfection, if you want perfection spend another £300.

I have just bought this tent as our family tent, we took our 7 and 4 year old daughters camping last year in a much smaller tent to test the water with them, they absolutely loved it so we have decided to upgrade our tent and take up camping for our holidays from now on.
I have only given this tent an 8 star rating because as of now we have not spent a night in it, it was delivered 2 weeks ago and I set it up to make sure everything was ok before we went away (also to get an idea of how to pitch and not look like a complete numpty infront of the experienced campers on site :-) )
I also came across the same problems with the fitting of the bedrooms, I have since watched a video on YouTube with hints and tips pitching this tent, the next time I pitch I will try what I saw and see it it makes a difference.
This tent is excellent value for money, I cannot believe how spacious and well lit it is, I can see many happy camping holidays ahead, ours girls love it and have pestered us everyday since we pitched it to go away in it, hopefully we will this weekend :-)
I bought the carpet and the awning for it, reading the review before mine by android the canopy was mentioned, the reason I never purchased the canopy was for the same reason that it is not enclosed, I suggest looking at the awning though as this is enclosed and has a groundsheet, it also adds an extra 2.5m to the tent. I will upload a picture of my tent with the awning for you to see, but I did not peg down the front or put down the groundsheet so keep that in mind when viewing.
I hope this has helped
I will write again once we have stayed in the tent and let you know about our experience with it

I would agree with all of the previous reviews about the problems with the fit of this tent. You have to have a bit of continuous adjustment to the guys ropes when fitting the bedroom and for some reason the front floor lifts - but I still love this tent. I bought it and immediately (within the hour) went camping with just my 6 year old son. Opening the box and scanning the instructions I could see that it required 2 adults to erect. By this point my 6 year old was climbing a tree so I had to do it by myself.
It takes about an hour to erect and an hour to take down. It is fairly easy if it’s a sunny, still day but if it’s windy you definitely need two people.
The hardest part is getting it all back in the bag which seems to be exactly the right size for it - if perfectly folded.
I have snapped a pole elastic but managed to repair it, the carpet is very slippery on the groundsheet - you need Velcro and you need to be careful with the guy adjustments to keep the fly sheet off the bedroom at the back corner (or it gets wet inside).
This tent is very spacious, great for kids, with room for living and storage. I saw some advice before I bought this (my first family tent) saying to buy a tent with a berth of 2 more than your family. So my family of 4, plus 2 = 6 berth which is spot on. My friend bought the 4 berth version of this for his family of 4 and struggles with space.
We haven’t had a huge downpour but have experienced rain and nothing has come in. The option of using the side or front door is great if it’s windy and the windows are very welcome if you're stuck in it during a shower, or cooking etc.
I have looked at buying the front extension but it doesn’t have sides so I don’t think would be much use as a shelter. Other tents have extensions with sides which we have been able to shelter in during showers.
I would recommend this tent but it appears, from other reviews, that I have been lucky and my ‘defects’ aren’t as bad as some others have experienced.

As with a lot of the other reviews on here this tent was not up to standard, there were sewing faults all over the place( Velcro not lining up, thread and snags everywhere and badly cut/sewn panels), this made the front sit up in the air on the flattest campsite I have ever been to in Norfolk, we tried every thing we could think of to get it to settle but in the end had to dig holes where the front poles were.
The bedrooms didn't fit properly I had to leave 2 of the toggles undone so we didn't rip the fabric. There was poor sowing on the panel just above our bedroom, if we hadn't been there I dread to think what might have happened under the weight of the rain that was starting to collect, they are also tiny, I am just under 6ft, I didn't fit so well, no way this is a 6 man tent it would struggle at 5 and if you were slightly over 6ft your feet would have to hang out of the bedroom door.
IT LEAKED! through the zips on the side door, the kids woke up to a puddle outside their bedroom, and that was after a small amount of rain, with no wind!.And finally there was a cut in the fabric done in the manufacturing process.
We didn't get to test it in windy conditions but I wouldn't have that much faith in it holding up to well especially if it was raining to, the zips and stitching would give out.
The only good thing about this tent is the size of the living space It's a great size such a shame the quality just isn't there. The other reason we liked it were the windows.Yay windows. Boo the sewing and the velcro curtain do up things.Sewn in the wrong place, sewn on the wrong side, not matching up and the curtain being smaller than the window.
I wouldn't bother with an easycamp tent ever again now, I have replaced it with a kampa hayling 6 (looks virtually the same), Our local tent shop have upgraded us as I really didn't want another easycamp tent. It looked good. But in the words of my 9 year old on holiday 'it's pants'. =

We bought the Boston 600 as an upgrade to our 4 man Eurohike. WOW! Its huge! The living space is very impressive and the amount of windows makes it so bright! Bedrooms roomy and the organiser was well used. We are going to invest in the carpet and footprint at a later date and the only downside is extra velco needed on the doors so they don't flap about when its windy.

This tent has pros and cons so lets start with the pros. Man oh man is it big we had 3 of us lots of gear and 2 dogs including a travel \ sleeping cage and it swallowed us up. Secondly its easy to put up but takes care to get it right. We love the large amount of windows which make it airy an light and having both doors open gets a breeze through. We bought the carpet which is an excellent addition and made it so cosy. 6 people in the sleeping areas would be possible but not with air beds so if comfort is your thing and there are 6 of you buy an 8 birth. The organiser is just fab and allowed us to store important things in a place just to hand. Now the cons as everyone say the doors do gape so will buy sticky back velcro for our next outing. Also some of the quality control on the stitching has like the stitching gone a bit wrong. One of the zips on the front air vents is stitched wrong and so doesn't allow the vent to open. The main door zip on ours very nearly broke after the tent had been up up for 2 days . This is currently being investigated by the supplier and we may get a replacement tent. However we did fix it and the zip seems fine now. We will also be investing in some new better tent pegs as those supplied are not great. However for the money we are very impressed and really enjoyed our new tent. Cant wait for our next trip away
